I was born in Fort McLeod and raised and educated in Southern Alberta.  My career evolved into the management of "not for profit" societies and includes managing the Edmonton Home Builders Association, the Alberta Land Surveyors Association and the Alberta Roofing Contractors Association.

I have also provided consulting services to small and medium sized businesses, generally for the restructuring and expanding of business ventures while employed with the Federal Business Development Bank (now known as the Business Development Bank of Canada) and through my own company, Rohn Corporate Coordinations.

Currently, I reside in Calgary with my husband.

Community service has also been a very important aspect of my life.  I have been involved with numerous community organizations which included the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital (Board Member), Anglican Christ Church (Trustee of Special Endowments), the American Holistic Health Association (Founding Director), Toastmasters International, the Sistership Dragonboat Association (Founding Member and Board positions), Past Board member of the Woman of Vision Global Television program.

Appointment as an Alberta Marriage Commissioner is one of my life's proudest accomplishments and I look forward to working with all couples to ensure that the very important commitment to marriage is one that brings joyful and life long memories.   

I have also been honored as a Woman of Vision in Calgary, and
have  been awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal.
